Four Days To Go...

...and I can't wait!! Saturday is holiday time!! First holiday in about fourteen years... maybe more, I can't remember!! I'm spending a week in Wales on the glorious Shell Island; a place I haven't been for so long!! I will use my 'down time' to work on my music and photography; Guitar & DSLR, what more do I need?... iPhone, Laptop and possibly some clothes!! :)

Nothing new to report really... I've been listening to Paramore's new album 'Brand New Eyes' A LOT (available from all good stockists OR download the iTunes Deluxe Edition - which I did!!), and think it is AMAZING!!

The only new Xbox 360 game I've played is 'Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2', which is great... just wish there was more costumes!! HINT HINT if you're reading Activision!!

Oh, I forgot... it has been a while since I updated!! 'Batman: Arkham Asylum' is an AMAZING game; awesome story and even better graphics... A MUST BUY!!

I watched 'Angels & Demons' last night and thought it was a brilliant film... I did think that was gonna happen!! ;)

I've also bought 'Mirrors' & 'Taken', but am waiting to watch those when I'm on holiday and need some late night viewing!! :)

I think that'll do for now... catch you on the flip side peeps!!

It's Been A While...

I've been soooo busy recently and haven't posted in a while!!

I would just like to say a big HELLO to my first follower JAG (Just A Girl). I would urge anyone who reads this (that's not many, LOL) to read/follow her blog, as it's very inspirational and she's a 'Just Amazing Girl'... like what I did!! ;)

I'll try to update this more regularly... especially as I've got my iPhone now - GOD I LOVE IT... could do with a Blogger app for it though!! ;)

T.F.I. Friday

Well the first week back was quite quiet!! I'm currently listening to Queens Of The Stone Age whilst fixing laptops in a close to empty college.

'Destroy All Humans! Path Of The Furon' made it into the Xbox this week, not a bad game, has some fun points, but glad I only paid £13 for it!!

Played 'Race Driver: GRID' too... great game, graphics are spot on and although the damage isn't fun, it is very accurate!! Well worth £15!!

'Gear of War 2' has still been the highlight of the gaming week... only 8 achievements left and it's fully complete - 2 are gonna be touch though!!

Stepped the weight training up a notch last night; moved from 7Kg dumbbells to 17Kg... damn that felt good!! \m/(o_o)\m/

I think they are the highlights of my week... the interesting life I live hey, LOL!! ;)

Back To The Grind Stone

Well, after a nice two week break, it's back to work!!

I didn't really do much over the fortnight; just training, Xbox 360, films, and had the best time up in London with an amazing friend!!

Didn't really play much other than 'Gear of War 2' as the new 'Dark Corners' maps were released... and double XP week!! Quite impressed with the new maps and make a nice addition to possibly the best game I've ever played!!

Started 'Red Faction: Guerrilla' only briefly, but looks to be a very enjoyable game... if you like blowing sh*t up!!

Also got 'Destroy All Humans! Path Of The Furon', but that didn't even make it into the Xbox!!

Films, now where to start? Let's go chronologically...

Franklin - Totally not what I was expecting from the trailers, but a great film none the less!! It's a thinker, but won't spoil it... you need to be into these sort of 'out-there' films to fully appreciate it!!

The Watchmen - Awesome... really impressed!! You have to be into these type of specific comics... not your Spiderman of Batman!! I got the American Directors Cut on Blu-ray which have an extra 30 minutes... this was the first time I'd seen it, so couldn't tell what was different!! If you like your 'dark' comics, you'll love it!!

Coco Avant Chanel - Not the usual sort of film I would watch... the general foriegn subtitled films I watch involve A LOT more weaponry, LOL!! I actually quite enjoyed it... quite an emotional film about love and life - worth a watch!!

Bruno - I laughed, I cried!! I REALLY don't know how he got away with it!! That's all I'm prepaired to say about it... if you loved Borat, you'll love Bruno... the film that is, LOL!!

I think that's about it for this blog... I will update you as and when I remember!! ;)

Peace...

The First Post

Welcome one and all!!

This is the first post of what might be an epic journey through space and time... or a load of twaddle!!

I will try to update this as often as possible, but the novelty will probably wear off and will disappear into cyberspace...

Anyway, I will try to post what's going on in my very 'run or the mill' life, reviews of music, films, games, and other things that may be of interest!!

Thanks for taking the time to read this blog!!
